Manan Bakery In Spr - Flamingo Heights

I ordered a cake two days prior to my event and paid in full when I ordered. On the day that I scheduled to pick up the cake they were unable to locate the cake or what happened to the order. They first lied and said my cake was ready and just needed final decorations before finally admitting that they do not have my cake. They then proceeded to blame their unorganized service on me instead of owning up to the mistake. I have been a customer since they have opened and I am extremely disappointed. Be aware, I will never be going back again and you shouldn't either.

I brought several bakery. It was my first time there. I spent roughly about $45 on various pastries. All their pastry looks amazing, but the taste was terrible. FRUIT TART : think it was $6 $7 small, the size of my palm. I'm 5'3. It was gainy and not that appealing. I ended up throwing it away after two bites. There was more breading then the tart or fruit itself. It was THICK. Though I ate the fruits. FLAN : $6 $7. it was not smooth and giggly as any flan I've had. It was solid and thick. HONEY FRIED (looks like churros) : this was weighed to determine the price, mine came out to $4 $5. It was not bad but I wouldn't get out of my way for this again. Wayyyyyy too sweet. MADELEINE COOKIE : also priced vary by weight. This is so disappointing since this is my favorite type of cookie. It was thick, yet dried. PUFF WHIPPED CREAM FILLED : this was alright. Nothing fancy. Good or bad. Also priced vary by weight. HONEY CAKE : $6 $7. Dried. It taste good, I just think it should of been more fresh, which then would of had a little more moisture. This tasted like it's been there for a few days. VELVET CAKE : $6 $7. This was also sad. It was dried, the bread part of the cake was just stale. The cream cheese part was flavorful but it wasn't smooth, it was also a little thicker. As if it's been out for a few days. ROLLED LASAGNA LOOKING PASTRY WITH WALNUT : $4 $5 LOL they didn't have a name sign but it looked good. They had an option of regular or walnut. This is pretty good. I would come back for this again one day. Overall, not does not taste good in my opinion, but they definitely have a way the decorations on the pastries. Amazing art.
