Contribuiți la feedbackIt was a really good experience. the hostess and our server were super courtesy and nice, they went beyond and beyond. we had appeared too late and they let us in. this restaurant made our short stay in flagstaff very welcoming.
We were staying at the Doubletree, and it was sure convenient to just go downstairs to enjoy a good meal. There was no need for reservations on a Saturday evening. Our server was incredibly friendly and took good care of us. We were delighted to find out we could order off a partial menu of Sakura, which is immediately adjacent; the shared menu includes the appetizers, drinks, and the massive sushi menu, just none of the teppanyaki. We had the gyoza appetizer off that menu plus bacon-wrapped shrimp. Both were delicious. I had the wood-fired salmon for my entree. The whole plate was good, but I have to say the stand-out was the vegetables—so many places overcook them, but these were crisp, tender, and packed with their inherent flavors. My husband really enjoyed the French dip with fries. The check came out with perfect pacing when we were done, too.

After a long hike at the Grand Canyon, I want some good sushi. It was very nice to return to the hotel sushi restaurant.We arrived 1 hour before closing. So, I told the young male server my full order. My one requested would be, do not deliver all the dishes at once. What do I see not 15-17 minutes after I have placed my order on my table Shrimp/ Bacon App, Sushi, Diner Salad, Seaweed Salad, Seafood Pasta, and Fillet Steak all at ONCE. They were quick I just felt rushed!Everything was perfect, and the sushi appetizer was tasty. There was only one thing that was off about the meal. The chief added a basic country brown gravy on my perfectly seasoned steak, Why?
