Louie's Chicken Shack - Flagstaff

I decided to try the Shack Combo, which includes three chicken strips, seasoned fries, a piece of garlic toast, and their special sauce. I also ordered some Hot Chicken Wings, as the cashier had warned me that the spicy sauce was quite intense. After placing my order, I waited about ten minutes for my food, which was fine with me since it meant everything was fresh and not sitting under a heat lamp. When I got home, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions! The chicken and fries were both fresh and piping hot. The seasoned fries were delicious, and the batter on the chicken was light and crispy, with the chicken itself being juicy. The accompanying sauce was also flavorful, which impressed me greatly. Overall, I think this restaurant is a fantastic alternative to the fast-food chicken chains. The only letdown was the wings. They were a regular size and the sauce was rather ordinary; it lacked the boldness I expected. Additionally, the sauce was quite runny and left the wings feeling under-dressed. We joked about the authenticity of the garlic bread, suspecting it might be freshly made from local bakeries, but on our way to the car, we noticed a Texas Toast Box! Just a minor disappointment, but overall, it was a fantastic meal. In fact, I was so impressed that I've already returned within less than a week!
