Brief Summary: In the heart of Fiumicino, and just 10 15 minutes drive from FCO. This place is definitely worth being added to your list of places to see while visiting Rome. Be warned the one negative thing I can say about this place is the location. If this was located closer to a major city such as Rome or public transportation, It would definitely get more foot traffic. The food is good the ambiance is themed accordingly, and the hospitality is top notch. Service: You are greeted by the Captain who from my observation greets everyone with the same smile and brightness no matter if you are a VIP person or just coming in to enjoy the buffet. If you are VIP you are given a nice cocktail to start off while you wait to board the plane. If you are there for the buffet you are directed to your reserved or open table that is available at the time of your arrival. Food: Bites of Deliciousness is the best way to describe their dishes. If you are a fish lover Ristoaereo definitely doesn 't disappoint. If you are not, they have a few meat dishes that will keep you satisfied, as well. But I must say the fish dishes are definitely what this place is known for. Ambiance: It 's a plane...in a restaurant. Do I have to say more? Seriously a plane.. in a restaurant. A Presidential Air Force 1 equivalent for four of the Italian Presidents. In order to accomplish this the plane was taken apart and then rebuilt in and around the restaurant, making it a permanent fixture in this quiet off the beaten path neighborhood. Overall: 4.4 stars YTF APPROVED!! Location .3 In our opinion getting here is the only downside. But when you think about it. Has anything good ever been easy? From cocktail to desert Top class 50 euro . You will be satisfied and happy with your experience. If that is too pricey, get the buffet and ask if you can go up to the cockpit. Food .3 : Fish dishes.. amazing. Meat dishes could use more love. We are not saying they were not tasty, but you realize immediately when sampling between the two where the chef 's heart and pride is in. Hint: go when it is not too busy weeknights except for Friday .. so you can freely walk around the establishment and take pictures without interrupting paying customers. YTF: Suggestions: Partner with surrounding Hotels: You can Offer shuttle services to this location or discounts to eat here. If you offer 10 20% discounts based on what they choose you will definitely get all the first night travelers, since they won 't have to think about where they should eat first while staying in Rome. This would also be a great place to host business lunches or dinners as well.

Went there to celebrate our anniversary and we liked it a lot. A very interesting place where you can feel yourself a celebrity flying on a board of almost private plane, enjoying tasty food (we took fish menu) and you can go to see the cockpit. The stuff is great and the atmosphere is really pleasant. Surely will return there.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while we were staying at a bed breakfast close to the airport before our flight the next morning. Hands-down one of the best meals we had throughout our 2-week trip to Italy. The manager was very friendly and accommodating despite us not having a reservation. Seafood was very fresh. Highly recommend the seafood lasagna if it is offered on the menu for the day! Melts in your mouth.
