The place is a garrison of slow food, which you breathe in everything. From the location, in an ancient palace in front of a closed square, which becomes beautiful scenery to eat outdoors. Inside the room is structured on two levels, clean, neat with a typical decor of an enoteca, decorated with many books. The menu is coincided, it offers excellent alternatives, but you don't miss it on a thousand choices. The first ones do it as a master, with good choices regarding the second dishes. Reading you understand the care for the choice of ingredients. What is strongly reiterated when food arrives at the table. Trying it you will immediately understand that the raw material is of the place, collected and processed. Meat is superlative, as well as vegetables, grown by them. To all this is added a wine card that focuses everything on Calabria. I don't mind at all, actually. Prices, given the quality, are completely adequate. In four, with a bottle of wine, two first, two discreetly rich appetizers and a cutter, we spent altogether less than 80€. The only defect (then I remove a star) was the service, which probably due to the off-season period, was visibly under stress, which reflected a little on the service. But mine must not be taken as a criticism, but as one they spit to improve. I'll definitely come back.

A wonderful discovery both for location and for food quality, all clearly of the first choice: the taste does not betray. I ate a particular and spicy first dish, really unique. Quality meats are served in the cutting board. A heartfelt thanks for the kind offer of a small extra cutter, we really enjoyed it and hope to return here next year.
In a charming square, in the award-winning village of our beautiful Calabria, stands this interesting restaurant-biblioteca. Friendly staff is available. The cuisine is typically local and of excellent quality. I recommend the start of the house where it excels both potato frittata and local meat. As first pasta there is a good choice: I tasted a amatriciana revisited in Calabrian key with nduja. Second based on meat and fresh fish. Red wine of a fine wine cellar of excellent Gaudio level).
