The Pumphouse Hotel - Fitzroy

We have been to this hotel often and it is on the way home form work and a great place for dinner if cannot be bothered to cook. We never have starters here as the meals are of generous portions. Wine list is good, we had the Kilikan shiraz. Food, my husband had the aged rib eye which was cooked to perfection. I had the chicken breast which was also perfect. Service is excellent, friendly and attentive. The dining room and bar is under renovation, so cannot wait to go back to see the new style. I highly recommend dining here - you will not be disappointed

Great place with amazing menu, game meals, very creative and very tasty, good choice of food and drinks, nice, friendly staff. Nice place to enjoy a good time.

After a week of anxiety at St Vincent's Private Hospital it was lovely to sneak away and relax in this delightful hotel. Magnificent steaks to bring the iron levels up and the chips were the best. We ordered the Espresso Martini's well done to the waitress Jasmine she knows the story.

Stopped in for lunch on a cold, rainy day after visiting the museum and just had to write a review to let others know how great this venue is. We had our 17month old daughter with us and they were so accommodating - setting up the high chair, giving her a colouring pack, bringing our meals quickly and even letting us into the empty function room to change her on a table as there wasn't a change table in the bathroom (don't worry we used a change mat!). On top of all this the meals were amazing!!! Highly recommend this place.

Walked into the pumphouse with my wife & daughter. Sunday is generally nice and quite .One of Melbourne's many great hotels .The staff are genuinely friendly very helpful. Great chef, food is always flavorsom and innovative. A pleasure to try there new dishes. I would highly recommend this hotel.
