Sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly, however perhaps an aioli of some kind should be served with sweet potato fries as ketchup wasn't the appropriate condiment. Waitress was excellent and very accommodating. Highly suggest for lunch!
My first time here. I had a Cesar wrap with sweet potato fries, beer and dessert. They were all very good. Lots of chicken in the wrap. Perfect size. Dessert was sinfully delicious. I will return. Wheelchair accessibility: First floor wheel chair access. I didn't see a elevator or lift to get to the 2nd floor.
We actually ate at Avellino. Great Italian food. Great service.
My friend and I decided to stop at The Duck since we were at the flea market all day and needed a drink. We arrived at 4:00 ish and the bar was very inviting when you first walk in. We decided to sit there since it was pretty empty. Great decision because we had stellar service from John Stacey and Colby. Two great guys who epitomize hospitality service! Professional, friendly, and entertaining! The food (fried artichoke hearts, meatballs, burger) was outstanding, but it was the service that stood out! By the time we left (after 6) the bar was full. It’s popular for a reason. We will definitely make the long drive just to meet up there again. Also, a shout out to Elijah who was also engaging he’s a restaurant server, so ask for him if you use the dining room!
The Duck came recommended from the hotel we were staying at for the Brimfield Antique show. Since we were traveling and didn’t have room for “doggie bags” (dang it! My favorite feature of dining out), my sister and I opted to split a meal. We started with the Gorgonzola bread. Delicious. The Gorgonzola was creamy and delicious and who doesn’t like fresh bread? Our entree was the pappardelle Bolognese. Honestly the best Bolognese I’ve ever had. It killed me to leave behind the unfinished food, we were stuffed! The wine was a little pricey (IMO) at $12 per glass but it was a really nice wine! I usually opt for the “house wine” option but the only wines they serve were on the wine list.
