At first glance from the outside, we were a bit concerned because it’s located next to a pizzeria with the same name, but once we stepped inside, we found the restaurant to be quite lovely. After we were seated, the host or owner greeted us with a cart filled with an assortment of cheeses, meats, and a salad, offering to prepare a plate for us as an appetizer. It was delicious, and I was grateful we didn’t order any other appetizers. We also enjoyed warm garlic bread, which was excellent. Following that, we had salad and generous main courses, including pasta. Each dish was flavorful, and we all shared our meals. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was outstanding. Since we were unfamiliar with the area and had no recommendations, we took a leap of faith and were so pleased with our choice. Throughout the weekend, my family continued to rave about the restaurant, and we can't wait to return on our next visit! It’s definitely a hidden gem.
The Francese dishes, particularly the shrimp and chicken, were outstanding! The Chicken Marsala was flavorful and well-prepared. The house salad dressing was quite delicious! The chicken noodle soup was also very tasty!
We've been visiting this restaurant for years, and we're glad they are on OpenTable so we can leave a review. They have a casual pizza area as well as a more formal dining section, both of which are quite inviting. The bar is also a nice addition. I love that they consistently update their website with the daily specials. You can enjoy comforting dishes like eggplant parmesan, or opt for some of their more refined dining options. It's a great spot to visit before heading across the street for events like baseball games at Dutchess Stadium.
From the outside, the restaurant might raise some concerns, as it is located next to a pizzeria with the same name, but once we stepped inside, we found it to be quite charming. After being seated, we were greeted by the host/owner (we didn't catch which) who offered us a generous platter of assorted cheeses, meats, and salads as an appetizer. It was delicious, and I was glad we hadn’t ordered anything else to start. They also brought out warm garlic bread, which was fantastic. Next, we enjoyed a salad and then our main courses, which included pasta. All the dishes were delicious and perfect for sharing. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the service was top-notch. We didn’t have any prior recommendations, so we took a chance, and we were so happy we did. My family talked about the restaurant all week and can’t wait to return on our next visit!
