Anker - Fischamend

Just arrived in Austria. Stop at Anker Cafe in Salzburg Main Station. Beautiful small café with a wide selection of dishes including vegan. We both had a ciabatta with rocket, buffalo mozerella and tomatoes. It was absolutely delicious. We shared an apple strudel that was divine. Nice big cup of tea too. We're coming back!

The Austrians usually work well with baked goods, and this bakery is no exception. Good food and service, and you are unlikely to be cheated here as you often do in airport restaurants.

Beautiful selection of delicious dishes, most of them sandwiches, fresh bagels and croissant filled with ham, eggs and vegetables.

We got a mini poppyseed strudel and a slice of kugelhupf at this nice little baking. There were other tempting cakes e.g. Apple strudel, and breads. You could get a coffee there also. The cakes we bought were very good.

Die Bedienung ist nett und zuvorkommend und der Kaffee ist in Ordnung und die Auswahl ist sehr gut. Gehe gern wieder hier hin.
