I Gelati Del Bondi - Firenze

We suddenly saw I Gelati del Bondi and it was like a warm welcome to us. We went in, I had a panini and my friend had a cake with banana and cream. The food was omg, it was tasty. We met super awesome and funny owner of the restaurant and he took a photo with us. I wanted to go back there whenever I had time for that, just to taste his special dishes and gelato.

My husband and I came here multiple times after dinner on the way back to the hotel and the gelato was great! Only thing, if you order “to go” in a cone, it’s more expensive than sitting down and eating. My husband was on crutches anyway so we always just sat down and ate, but the gelato was so tasty!

We had gelato here several times on our recent visit to Florence. It was near our hotel, so we could stop by in the evening on our way back after dinner. The gelato is very good, though there are better gelaterias in the city. Flavors I ate were gianduia and pistachio. Very good!

I have tried a few gelateria in Florence which were recommended by the tour guide during my recent holiday. Amazed to meet the gelato chef personally that serve me at the counter, to be honest, it's a very rare scene. Must try their Pistachio Olive Oil Tiramisu gelato, once you try theirs, you will never go back to others.

The best place for gelato in Firenze, it is delicious and the owner is so friendly. Highly recommended! Best wishes from Tromsø, Norway!
