Contribuiți la feedbackThe suggestion came to me more than a year ago by the illustrious Stefano Tesi and Leonardo Romanelli who discovered this unusual binomium osteria/benzinaio in via di Scandicci a stone's throw from Torregalli. Given the not too far away from the office I decided to go and try this Eni Station. The outside aspect does not let leak anything, only after crossing the threshold can come some doubt about the nature of this Eni Cafe. Almost all the environment is occupied by the tables and the bar, the shelves from Autogrill or similar even the shadow. To be July forwarded with half of the occupied covers and some even booked table I would say it is not bad. The menu is printed on a paper brochure, the choice is surprisingly wide, appetizers, first seconds outlines and dessert; between meat and fish there is the embarrassment of choice. My colleague and I opt for the fish and why not accompany it with a white lamb? At the plug there is both firm and sparkling. Of the wine paper rightly there is not even the shadow but behind the bar I see the bottles and the waitress on request we stappa a Sardinian vermentino. Lughena, Vermentino di Gallura della Cantina Sociale Giogantinu, pleasant scented and we are already beyond my expectations. Then comes the bread basket with crushed bread and white bread and is also homemade. Start with appetizers: Salad curly with mozzarelline, cherry tomatoes and anchovies Salad with red onions and fishes The presentation is simple but well made, almost a dressing by restaurant. A defect there is and is all in excess of vinegar that burned a little the flavor of the fish. Continue with spaghetti to the clam of my colleague. An endless pita, perhaps 2 hects abundant. The pasta is cooked to the tooth in an impeccable way the sauce is tasty but little tied with spaghetti. I have instead decided for a second: the swordfish carpaccio always garnished with the 'immancabile riccia salad, tomato, oil, oregano. White filaments don't remember what they were, but they were pretty unhealthy. To conlcude macedonia and cocomero in the company of the simpsons' television background that made me a strange effect déjà vu. The expense is attested on 20 € per person including wine, but with an appetizer less and avoiding to take the bottled wine, contenting with that at the plug, you are quietly under 10 € that in summary means quality/price ratio from record. Coming out I turned to look outside the structure still a little positively impressed by the experience and I forgot the sign on the glass that reads: breakfast aperitif lunches . To return as soon as possible.
Hahaahha 5 stars at a bar of a baker??? ? Open your eyes and the mouth that this place is worthy of a gourmet lunch! The chef managed in the past a restaurant renowned in Florence and feels! At lunch rich choice of traditional dishes, more or less 4 choices of appetizers, first of seconds...you can find the boiled in the old way, the soup of bread, tasty risottos, accompanied by homemade crushers! Don't miss the fish menu on Friday ok I don't eat fish but it's worth telling me the lovers of the genre!9 staff is kind, water offered by the house... the quality of food and the kindness of the staff, the family environment make forget the fact that you are at a bar of a distributor... !
