Imperial The Club Mainz - Finthen

Unfortunately a catastrophic evening .. Ambience, principle of the club, clientele.. We didn't get rid of the bad reviews, but we should have known better! Leaves more than to wish. Not even worth a star. If I don't recommend to anyone, I'd rather look for something better from the Mainz offer. We're not coming again!

What happened? Was the maximum shock on my visit yesterday...Where did the staff stay at the door?! There was no other situation where police operations were needed. The security personnel so far has always been highly professional. As a guest, you can't feel safe anymore. Please explain

It's a nice place, but I did not care for the DJ that night, he played music that I never heard before. Nothing current at all. In the drinks they put crashed ice and fill it to the top, so very little liquid/alcohol goes in and if you leave your glass unattended, they will take it away, thinking you finished your drink. Now I understand why people take their drinks with them to the dance floor. We paid entrance fee of €15 each and mixed drinks that are full of crushed ice were €10. I only got to enjoy a sip of it, because I left my drink unattended and it was taken away.

Draws a much older crowd (maybe 40-60 year olds), so if that's not your desired age group, I'd avoid this place. The venue is ok, just a simple room/dance floor, and a separate area through a set of doors for lounging. It's nothing spectacular, especially considering the entrance price, and location, but they could do a much better job with the place. As of now, I wouldn't return, or recommend it to anyone under the age of 35...
