Kyoto - Figueira da Foz

The resturant looks brand new and the service is pretty good. However, the food could have not been any worst! We were quite disappoint when we realized that the grilled salmon sushi was made with salmon 's crust and the sashimi was rather warm insted of being cold or at least fresh at the taste!! The fruits inside the sushi were warm as well and we saw how they managed a stockpile of salmon. OMG! I would finish here with my considerations, even though there would have been a few more things to say! Such as smoking a cigarette and then prepare sushi/sashimi straight away..... I would not suggest this sushi to anyone!

This beachfront sushi restaurant is nothing special to look at from the outside but dont be put off by the exterior as the freshly made to order Sushi is incredible. I think this restaurant is new and the feel of the restaurant from the inside is that they rushed to open/decorate as they still have lots of features from the previous establishment remaining. All sushi is made fresh to order and is delicious, they offer both cold california rolls and hot tempura dishes/meals. Friendly staff and great service, with great value for money. The restaurant is quite a walk along the promenade towards the Mercure hotel at the end of the beach, but keep walking as you wont be disappointed

Our daughter is a devoted Sushi fan, so we decided to try out Kyoto during our stay in Figueira this summer. Rather small and simple restaurant, but obviously very popular among the locals. The restaurant is buffet style , so for a fixed price you eat as much as you want. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the warm dishes were very tasty. A must for Sushi lovers who visits Figueira.

Great food and great value for the price. The tempura batter used on the battered shrimp was divine, couldn't help but order more and more. Nice location to people-watch and a great place to see the sunset. Absolutely no complaints at all regarding the staff or the service. Thank you to all at Kyoto!

Excellent value. €13,90 for all-you-can-eat option. Food was fresh, tasty and quickly served. Battered shrimps were really scrumptious. Lovely location by the sea-front promenade.
