Antica Taverna Casagrande

Good restaurant with typical Italian food. A good choice of appetizers, primi and secondi. They have their own wine (good) or a few options from Tuscany. The service is attentive, professional and friendly. If you are a guest, you may chose the half board menu with appetizer, main course, dessert and a glass of wine for 39€.

The restaurant is based inside the fortress walls. It is a big area surrounded by walls and a garden. The waiters were hospitable but very strict. The dinner itself was good. But it was very loud to due a table of 18 guests.

Food is very average, plates seem with no care and a bit rushed. Nothing special. Location is very nice and staff quite kind. Expected more

Magnificent location, one step from the center of daughters, an ancient convent excellently kept! there is also an Italian garden. excellent sliced as appetizer (it is one on two because it is abundant,) good pici with a sauce rich in Tuscan. great cut, one of the best if not the best in the area. good choice of wines, including those produced by themselves. not cheap, but quality is not discussed!
