Le Cabanon - Figanières

We were looking for somewhere for lunch and found Le Cabanon ...on a country road with nothing else around. It was a warm day and we sat outside which is a lovely space with the large tree and garden. Indoor seating is available too. My husband and I had a tasty galette, a salad and a glass of rose. All for 24 euro. The pizzas looked great too and the staff were very friendly.

Surprising nice place along a straight road, typical of Provence, under big oaks and with the songs of blackbirds, tomtits and very few....cars. The meals composed overall by pancakes with a great Bretagne influence are fantastic with ham, eggs,lard, very fresh salads and cidre to drink with and delightfull artisanal ice creamwere a real pleasure....more... served by the wife of the owner taking great care of you. The prices are very low....and the result is simply perfect !

This was a good surprise! we arrived after 9pm in a week night and were welcome with open arms. The setting is pretty basic and won't be the best place for a romantic dinner by we were amazed by the lovely service and by the food quality! pizza was incredibly good and quite large of a more than reasonable price. The Rose wine they sell by the liter is very cheap and excellent. We also had dinner outside, of course we can hear the road noise but there is not so much traffic at night, and it's more of a family place so you will have kids playing around, but the general feeling was very positive and I wish the local restaurants were as welcoming. We will definitely be back!
