Ichiban Teriyaki - Fife

This restaurant always has great service from open to close.

On way home from eye appointment need something for lunch. Did not want the samething burger and fries. So stopped here for something different.. I got cashew chicken I was going to save half for dinner but couldn't stop eating so by the time I realized I was over half way through it I just kept eating. This is going to be a stop I make Once every 5 or 6 weeks. So I can try new things.

This place used to be great, but I’m not sure if it’s new owners or what, but the quality and customer service have really declined. The woman at the front desk took my order but then made a mistake. Instead of trying to resolve the issue and exchanging the food, she just apologized for the error and left it at that. I hope they realize it’s not worth losing a regular customer base over this kind of service.

Edit 2 (response to owner): No, I was charged $16.59, not $10.99. There is absolutely no excuse for the chicken not being fully cooked. 165°F is sufficient to ensure chicken is thoroughly cooked, so if that’s not happening, it raises serious concerns about your food safety practices. This restaurant definitely needs an inspection! Overall, I was disappointed. Don’t waste your money here. What I received was simply grilled meat with some sauce drizzled on top. The chicken lacked any marinade or flavor, and the beef was extremely tough. To make matters worse, both meats were undercooked! And $17 for a chicken and beef combo is outrageous. Save yourself the trouble and drive a bit further down the street to Happy Teriyaki; their teriyaki is far superior.

I have to confess that I've never actually been inside the restaurant—only ordered delivery! But I really love this place because they offer tofu teriyaki, which can be hard to come by. What I appreciate is that it's not overly salty or drenched in sauce. It comes with fried rice and a small side salad. I know it might be a simple choice, but sometimes I just crave tofu teriyaki. It's crispy with just the right amount of sauce. Give them a try! Since discovering them a week ago, I've already ordered twice!
