Hylton's Wood-cooking Grill - Fieldale

Food was great and the owners were even better! I don't what else there is in Fieldale, VA but this restaurant is worth the trip!

A little dark hole in the wall kinda place. Dinning room area was a little dark, dingy, and smelled a little funky. Chicken was good and had a good smoked flavor, macaroni salad the pasta was a bit undercooked but it was ok otherwise, corn bread and biscuits were good.

Will add more later, but barbecue sauce is my favorite thing on earth and there is absolutely nothing like his sauce. Just put it in a baby bottle for me. Flavors keep unfolding on the tongue like the petals of a lotus flower. Love this guy. The realest. Can't wait to be back.

Can not rate this correctly. Went to eat and it said was open. Got there at 4 pm and they were closed. Very disappointed.

Amazing Food and Service! I'll be back! I'm travel for work, I seek out soul food and street tacos. This is a hidden GEM.
