Trattoria Le Nuvole - FERRARA

This was our best meal in Ferrara and possibly the best meal on the three-week trip throughout Italy. The restaurant itself is so charming and with a lot of character. It was full of locals who enjoy the food and the family atmosphere. The owner and the staff were amazing. They were attentive, professional and warm. Ferrara is a beautiful city, and this place makes it even more attractive to return. Each dish is creative and is on a par or better than Michelin restaurants in Paris. The wine was one of the best I ever had. It was a local white. Wife has pronounced the pink shrimps Tortellini to be heavenly. Amuse Bouche was amazing. Reservations for dinner.

The worst weekend you can visit Ferrara: cold, rain and snow, but we found protection in this beautiful restaurant. The very warm owner leads us to a side table, in the small but cozy room. And the amazing tasting experience started. The dishes were carefully cooked and love almost the entire menu based on fish, with more classic recipes and some original ideas. The service was modern and very friendly. The Sashimi star was really an anthology of aromas, of course, if you like raw fish. Very interesting the fish Carbonara, even though I prefer the linguins with mussels. Only the dessert was a kind of deception, it was not bad, but not as good as the rest I will try another one next time. Too bad, it was just a lunch before visiting the city and we did not opt for a bottle of wine, but the wine on the glass was decent. The last bill was not cheap, but balanced for quality and care. I think the evaluation of this restaurant is well deserved. Final note: It was a pity that the misunderstanding with the booking I would like to have dinner here to have a full culinary experience.

We were on a two-week road trip to italy from milan, florence, rome, san marino to venice always looking for good Italian restaurants. This restaurant in Ferrara was definitely the best. Required food at relatively low prices. Tasting, artistic decoration, beautiful ambience, attentive staff. very recommandable!

Superb food we has spaghetti Vongole out of this world as was the mil fuille outstanding. Tuna perfect. Staff we attentive and extremely helpful.
