Borda Do Cais - Ferragudo

Nice restaurant, we ordered the intruso, which is a combination of half a tiger prawn and tenderloin. It was good, but not too special (not so much flavours/taste in my opinion). I did like how they do the final preparations/serve the dishes in front of your table. For dessert we had the torta de alfarroba and delicia Algarvia. I enjoyed the delicia Algarvia more as it was a combination of carob, almond and figs. The torta de alfarroba is made with pure carob. The waiters were kind and attentive.

Food was great but the service could’ve been a bit more friendlier. My wife and I were there with our toddler for dinner and felt discomforted with prying eyes from all directions throughout our time. We felt uncomfortable with the constant glance towards us.

Authentic, amazing friendly staff that is housed to the children. flexible, as we start everything in the wrong order first, then start eating, then child menu) really impressed by the place, service and eating; impeccable. we had the vongole/clams. then seabass . recommended wein was amazing. they look like a movie. our children were frightened, but the menu and the wine as well as the dessert porto with the lemon cheese cake:) never had better.
