Jack's Place - Ferntree Gully

Having a cafe in suburbia and it's shopping squares (car park in the middle and cafe and shops surrounding) are hit and miss at best.

We have been coming here for both breakfast & lunch for some time and have not been disappointed in any instance. Service is always attentive, menu provides some excellent choices, with good serving sizes and well presented meals. Always good coffee, just the right temperature with great flavour. Look forward to our next visit

Visited for the first time for a quick sit down meal. We were served by the owner (Bogdan) who was pleasant and friendly. My wife requested Gluten Free options, his knowledge and understanding of Gluten Free was extensive.He suggested the steak special, which was awesome, as was the Gluten Free meal.Overall very well priced for a good feed. Relaxed understated outdoor area is great for a casual meal and catch up.Restaurant also delivers locally, which we have utilised on several occassions since.

Jack's place has become a favourite (close to home) place for coffee, breakfast or dinnner, we have tried them all. The food is always pleasing and the wait staff very accomodating. We have become fond of the staff and feel like we are part of the family. Prices are reasonable too.

Dear Trish. There is footage of Sunday's events taken by customers(strange as no one was apparently in venue) of your sons actions. Your son created the facebook post and tagged 26 people in it and told the business he would send us broke! He also sent private messages to the owner and myself "bragging" of his service for our country in the armed forces! I commend that! By the threats aren't needs or appreciated thanks. I certainly hope that your son didn't make up his story about losing the $20 and claiming staff stole it! If he did that could be deemed as trying to "claim credit by deception"! An offence he may be familiar with????? Army barracks in N.T. ring a bell with that?
