Max Restaurant - Fernie

I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but as a free breakfast, it was better than most hotel breakfasts that feel they come straight out of Costco.

Due to COVID the restaurant was only open for breakfast which was included in our stay at the Park Place Lodge, and what a breakfast! The eggs Benedict were amazing... hard to find hollandaise made from scratch and made so well, but they absolutely nail it here! We chatted with another diner who had a bacon and egg breakfast that looked very hearty! Would definitely recommend!

Each year my boys and I travel from Lethbridge to Fernie to celebrate Christmas together and are lucky enough to spend two nights at the Park Place Lodge. One of the two nights we ALWAYS make sure we wonder down stairs to have dinner and are NEVER disappointed with the service and the taste of the food. My boys have been coming to Fernie for a number of years and we eat...play and enjoy The Bistro each and every time we are in town. Give them a try...You will Not be disappointed.

The Bistro was very busy but the two servers and the kitchen did a good job of keeping up to demand. The breakfast was very tasty.

The food was good and the prices were reasonable. Its not as busy as the Pub so you can actually have a conversation. The service was also very good.
