Antigua Fusion Restaurant - Fernie

I tried the tortilla soup and seafood risotto at this restaurant. WOW. The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. WOW.

We very much enjoyed our visit to Frida! The restaurant has a funky vibe, and the food was fresh. We showed up on a Thursday and this was lucky as they were offering a deal on their tacos - $12 for 3 of any variety. Before our tacos (many to choose from including vegetarian options) came, we enjoyed the Brussels sprouts appetizer (sooo tasty,)! guacamole and some grilled corn with flavourful crema and cheese. Our lime margaritas were the perfect accompaniment. I would happily recommend this to anyone who enjoys good food in a cool atmosphere.

The restaurant is a nice place with a clean and interesting decor. The service is great and the food is delicious. They also have great drink specials. I would definitely eat there again next time I am passing through.

We have been meaning to try Frida's for a while and finally got there tonight; glad we did.This is Mexican fusion but the tacos were totally authentic (we spend a lot of time in Mexico.) We had traditional pork pastor, brisket and lamb tacos, plus Tortilla soup and fried Brussels Sprouts for appies.My partner enjoyed the sprouts, me not so much, the Tortilla soup was excellent.The tacos were the highlight though and we highly recommend them. They are $5 each and I was surprised by other Trip Advisor ratings that suggested they were abnormally small and poor value; we absolutely disagree. We found them delicious and filling. We each had two in addition to the appetizer and that's all we could eat.As noted in other reviews the margarita's were excellent and I enjoyed the selection of Mexican beers including my favourite, Pacifico.Our waiter was very pleasant and very efficient.Highly recommended as a nice change to the other also excellent options in Fernie. We will be back!

I had a quick meal at this restaurant with two young boys while staying at Red Tree. The restaurant was very quiet and had an impressive selection of taco options. We decided to try three tacos, with the avocado taco standing out as particularly delicious.
