Contribuiți la feedbackWe went for their traditional Sunday roast; the gluten free roast Turkey offering was a little disappointing as there was nothing offered as a replacement for the pigs in blankets, the cauliflower cheese, the Yorkshire pudding or the roast parsnips (which all came as standard for the other roasts). I had asked for extra vegetables but this wasn’t forthcoming. The other 3 diners had roast beef, with all the trimmings and it was tasty plentiful, although somewhat light on gravy. We asked for more which eventually arrived. Staff were friendly and pleasant and the drinks were nice and cold. Good view of Wimborne town square from our table. We didn’t order puddings.
Nice people, particularly Steph and her colleague (sorry forgot your name) in the bar. Great food. Excellent location. Some cracking rooms as well, though some (though comfortable enough) are a bit, um, dowdy. Would certainly stay again.
Food excellent but room really hot (although a fan supplied) They could have left water for us. Room in need of a refurb. Staff very good and helpful.
Lovely old hotel right in the middle of the town square. Staff excellent, no issues with them but the place wants some money spent on it, not modernisation but maintaining and repair. Our room was poor by most standards today.
Good bar and people. Our room however was very hot, window needed jaming open, then only 6 inches, bathroom very tired and dingy. Room itself was tired, furnishings looked old and varnish mostly gone. So, a 3 , that's 4 for the bar and people and 2 for our room, for which we were charged £147. Drinks also very expensive. Not good value.
