Tokyo Sushi Ferndale

Ricky, our server, was fantastic, and the food was incredible. This is the first restaurant I've been to that made a truly delicious mocktail. We will definitely be returning!

The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent too! The Philly roll was a bit salty, but all the other dishes were spot on!

Situated on bustling Woodward, just north of the well-known 9 Mile strip, Inyo offers a large city parking lot at the back. Please note that they only accept credit cards with a chip; no mobile or tap payments are allowed. Inside, you'll find a long, dimly lit dining area, featuring a sushi bar at the rear (which was previously used for take-out orders) and a liquor bar at the front. The drinks were enjoyable, and the bartender was fantastic. They are gradually replacing Bud Light with a selection of Japanese beers. As for the sushi, it was good—not exceptional, but satisfactory. If you're considering happy hour pricing, the drinks and sushi are definitely worth it, but the regular prices might not be as appealing.

This was the worst restaurant experience I've had in years. It took 20 minutes for anyone to take our drink order. The manager had walked by our table that was empty multiple times without even checking in on us. We did see him help other tables. My wife and I were the only lgbtq table at the time so I can only assume that was the issue which is sad since they are located in Ferndale. When we did order the hamachi was not suitable for anyone to eat and I order this at every sushi spot I go to. It was old and I was worried that I would get sick so I literally spit it out. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good food, good drinks, the server was really nice and cool and honest about opinions, and the vibe is nice. The last time I was here was probably 10+ years ago but it still doesn't disappoint!
