Upon arriving at Amelia Island, our realtor recommended The Galley as a fantastic local hidden gem. We enjoyed open-air dining on a warm afternoon, a much-welcomed change from the cold weather in New Jersey. I ordered a fresh grilled tile fish sandwich that was absolutely delicious; the sweetness of the fish was divine. My husband opted for a burger, and the sweet potato and regular fries were equally tasty. It's hard to explain, but they were tender on the inside yet crispy on the outside, without any greasy heaviness - they must use a new, light oil. We also enjoyed a glass of wine for only $4. Our server, Derek, was friendly and welcoming. The view overlooking the marina was relaxing and overall, The Galley is another hidden gem on the island. Thank you, Jo-Ann and Ken.

This charming little restaurant offers a lovely view of the water. There may be a wait for a table, but once you're seated, the service and food are excellent. Don't miss the fish bites appetizer!

This restaurant is awful. The older Caucasian server with a beard was polite but seemed dismissive. It felt like he didn't want customers. The food was only okay. I won't be returning to this place.
