Espana Of Amelia Island

Wanted to taste everything on the menu but had to settle for Four that the Two of us shared. That means we will have to return from Lake Placid, NY to taste more. Absolutely authentic cuisine! FIVE STARS.

Visiting from out of town and have dined here before. Love the menu selections, always able to try different items on each visit. We were seated and served efficiently. Started with sangria, then a glass of wine. Wine prices are reasonable. The escargots was the biggest hit of the evening: not the usual garlic and butter preparation. These were in a creamy tomato sauce. Also loved the grouper prepared Lisbon-style.

We had a delicious seafood meal served by a very competent server named Omar.

Such a pleasure to bring guests to Espana for a unique and delicious experience. Everything is so tasty. Always get the portabello and this time also tried the polenta. Polenta is a repeater for sure! Thanks for a very fun night!

Three of us all ordered seafood. My companions raved about the scallop and spicy grouper dishes. I had the Fisherman’s stew which was good but spicier than previous occasions and not up to previous occasions. Good just not Great. Would try all three again. Duarte our waiter was great. The young bus boy was very attentive to our needs.
