Taj Mahal - Fermoy

Just had an excellent meal at this restaurant. Shared a special mixed Balti a beef Sagg dish with pilau rice a garlic nann. Super service, warm welcoming hospitality tremendous value. The atmosphere in the restaurant was full of positive vibes there was a great buzz present too. Looking forward to returning again soon.

Very nice and helpful staff, a little more expensive than the Chinese restaurants in Fermoy but well worth it for something different. Also is a lovely restaurant to sit and have a meal in, very pretty inside.

We decided to eat out while we were staying in The Grand Hotel, Fermoy and found the Taj Mahal only a short distance away. Great little Restaurant, wonderful food, and the best part is you can bring your own wine with you.

This restaurant the taj mahal is closed since 2006 the only indian restaurant in fermoy is the Raj indian restaurant down in ashe quay.and the reveiws below are for this restaurant .I eat here on a regular basics and would highly recommend there bhuna dishes, the buttered chicken and the chicken rogan and try there chilli cheese naan bread. try for ur self

I have only gotten takeout from this restaurant, but it seems like a nice place. I first tried the Vindaloo, which is very spicy and not for those with a sensitive palate. When they say it's hot, they mean it! The Chicken Tandoori had a good flavor, but it was served as a breast rather than the preferred bone-in style. The shishkabob, ground lamb on a stick, is delicious and surprisingly filling despite its size. The Naan bread is outstanding, no matter which kind you choose. The prices are reasonable for the portion and quality of the food, and the staff was accommodating when I asked for no sauce, etc.
