Contribuiți la feedbackDelicious coffee, fantastic mushroom toast, and very friendly service. It is a bit pricey for a café, but I really enjoy stopping by on my way to the office.
This charming little corner cafe in the CBD offers prompt and friendly service, along with a healthy and appealing menu filled with delicious treats on display. The seating is somewhat limited due to the small tables, which can make it tricky to fit all the beautiful plates of food. The lunch bowls are both visually appealing and tasty, providing healthy and nourishing options. All dishes are vegetarian, and you have the option to add a protein. The coffees and turmeric lattes are beautifully presented, with a cinnamon stick atop the turmeric latte. Takeaway options are also available, and the sweet bagels all sound tempting. I'm looking forward to trying breakfast here next time!
I ordered the New York-style bagel with wattle macadamia peanut butter. It was slightly too toasted for my taste since I prefer my bagels to be a bit chewier rather than crunchy. However, the nut butter was rich and smooth. The fig and cranberry sourdough toast was three times better than ordinary raisin toast, thanks to the figs and the sourdough! The coffee was fantastic as always, and I absolutely adore the marble and golden details!
Regiment is a more modern and fancier cafe located near the Wynyard train station and bus station. Menu items include a lobster roll and bagels and of course coffee. It was bustling with people coming in and out of the space, with the service being very quick. <br/ <br/ I ordered a small soy latte and that was already $4 as soy milk was charged at an extra $0.50. When they say small, they do mean small. I don’t drink a lot of coffee in one go so it was perfect for me. The price may be expensive for many but the coffee was worth it for me. It tasted quite close to the best coffee I’ve ever had which was at the Higher Ground Cafe in Melbourne as I enjoy my coffee on the smoother and little bit sweeter side. I think I might have found my favourite coffee place in Sydney. Will be back to try their bagels and breakfast menu items.
Super bustling spot in the city right off George St so expect crowds! Got lucky enough to get a seated spot inside I would describe it as squishy but inviting! <br/ <br/ Overa service was good and the coffee and food was fantastic! We had the mushroom on sourdough and breakfast bowl (actually had a mini mouth drop moment when it came out because the bowl was so big but I finished all of it which goes to say how good the food is! The coffee was perfect!
