Black Star Pastry

I love the watermelon cake here but this time the service was not great. We ordered coffees and Watermelon cake but a staff told us the cake was sold out. And when we checked before leaving we could see one whole watermelon cake was in the showcase. When I asked the staff she told me that is 4 portions. “We were 4 people.” My brother ,his wife, and their girl are here to travel to Sydney and I drove all the way here to let them try this cake. <br/ <br/ Service wise I want to give here 1 star but the cake was great.

The cakes at Black Star never fail, but what's so good about this outlet is that there are ample seatings. Bright open space, it's definitely a great place to catch up for some arvo tea. Also there's complimentary soda water on tap! Will definitely be back.

Came here for the first time today. Had a delicious vegan cupcake. Looked delicious and you probably wouldn’t even be able to tell its vegan! Really great how the café has its own complimentary still and sparkling water self-service.

Is it really a trip to Sydney without stopping by at Black Star Pastry? No it isn't. Having thought that I had gone to every single branch of Black Star in Sydney, I was surprised to hear they opened up a new one at Moore Park, which is why Iron Fist and I hit it up right after arriving. I think we may have clashed with some sort of game happening, as there were quite a few people and parking was incredibly hard to come by.

This is a really nice spot for cake and coffee and the best thing about this store compared to their other locations is the space. The dining area to sit and relax is much larger and more comfortable. They also have a wide range of cakes including my favourite strawberry and watermelon cake. Coffee is great too!
