In order to give the most accurate and most informative Google Reviews, I am one of the few Google Reviewers that judges my reviews on the following 6 points. 1.Service; The service within the Sydney Air New Zealand lounge is world-class friendly and is the key reason why NZ continues to sit at the top of their game in airline travel and in the club lounge space. 2.Coffee/drinks; They had a good selection of both coffee and tea and also a machine for those that loved a machine made cappuccino. The Bar was well stocked with well-know kiwi favourites like Steinlager and Stella Artois beers, top-shelf, ciders, Villa Maria nz sauvignon blancs from the Marlborough region, and and ok bottle of bubbles. The stand-out points… the full time bartender in the club lounge that can mix up a mean cocktail or mocktail… this is a standout characteristic of the kiwi lounges. 3.Vibe; The décor within is chilled and modern, my timing made all the difference, when I went in the lounge it was not overly crowded and there were seats available everywhere. Welcoming and friendly feel to the place, with a good mix of both business and holidayers in the lounge. Good wi-fi for any last minute social media postings to brag… 4.Food; There was a large selection of hot and cold food available (4pm). Usual things like cheese crackers, gluten free muffins, sweets, fruit, soup of the day and a hot food selection (3 choices, curry, casserole and the chef making the fresh quaesadillas) were their standout points. 5.Signature foods/point of difference; Around 4pm when I entered the lounge, they had a chef in the small food buffet area making vegetarian and chicken quesadillas, this was a great point of difference compared to other lounges I have used, a full-time mixologist/bartender that could mix up a good non-alcoholic cocktail or an alcoholic cocktail. Oh – and if that dosen’t satisfy the fussy -From the lounge, you can see your plane parked on the tarmac and its only a 5 minute walk to the plane. 6.Cleanliness; On the occasion where I entered the business class lounge – It was not busy, the tables and food areas looked clean. I also checked out the showers and they were neat and clean, with nice soaps and shower gels and rainwater showers, towels in good supply. My only remark was that the glass was not sparkling and spotless-a minor point however. Based on all of the above points – I give this lounge a very definite 5 out of 5. I will be back with friends!!
A very well laid out lounge with lots of various seating options that allow you to view the concourse from 2 or 3 different angles. A reasonable set up for the food and they have a fulltime barista for all your coffee needs .
Space is great. Foods are nice but limited. Not clean especially shower. It was bad
