Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Fenton

There was a young lady named Taylor who was running the register and making smoothies. There were about 6 people in total waiting for orders. While she and another young man were making the orders they were talking badly about other employees and how another employee the previous shift had put their hands in some food and she swore loud enough for all to hear, even though there was a child present. She was talking loudly about wanting to quit and how bad it was working there. Not a very pleasant thing to hear as a customer. Please have a conversation with your employees about proper behavior and conversation in the work place, because this was not it.

This location is a bit hit or miss. Sometimes I'd say atleast one out of three visits i get a smoothie that isn't all the way blended. I paid a LOT for a blended beverage, and i was looking forward to it. I guarantee every one of your customers would rather wait an extra 20 seconds than to get that chunky smoothie. Those chunks don't melt and they don't go up the straw, so you either have to suck so hard with no reward, or you have to take the lid off and end up with smoothie on your nose..Otherwise they are fabulous! Always friendly, store is clean, quesadillas are great.

Employees are very rude and lack any manners. Witnessed a regular come back in with a complaint and was very nice about it for having the issue she did. They remade her order and as soon as she walks out the two girls on shift look at eachother and say I swear to God some people. And than i say thank you when I get my order, no response at all. I was loud and it was when blenders weren't going. Unprofessional and uninviting. Tuesday July 26, 2023.

They had 1 worker actually working, and that was a girl named Nina. She was on top of things and getting it done. The rest were just slacking off and not getting anything done. Line was out the door, but it didn’t have to be. I saw them skip over my order multiple times before finally making it…. After I was finished with my smoothie I finally got my food I ordered 30 minutes ago. I am thoroughly disappointed with this establishment. Time after time i end up waiting too long for something that should be done a lot sooner. Be better.

They have got to find a different method for dealing with busy times. I waited for 4 smoothies for over 30 minutes each one coming out in 8 minute increments. It's absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary.
