The restaurant is very pleasant, with excellent service.

Only stopped off for a quick drink whilst on a walk with the dogs. Stayed in the beer garden which seemed OK but was full of old pallets. The outside bar looked very rundown and the whole place looked quite neglected. I can't comment on the food, if they did it, but my husband said the lady behind the bar was friendly enough. Had Sunday lunch here whilst staying on a nearby campsite. Lovely homecooked meal and dessert. Only one choice of each course but still great food and a friendly atmosphere.

Rang on Friday evening to ask if still serving food, 7.30pm, told only a limited menu available. Arrived 8.30pm had the most delicious home made cheese burger, chips salad. Massive thanks to the landlord, great welcome atmosphere. 31-03-2023.

This restaurant is now under new management and the two brothers who run it are excellent. They made us feel very welcome and we had a wonderful night on their opening night. We will definitely be coming back regularly. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
