Contribuiți la feedbackI have eaten at this restaurant many times, in the sit down fashion, and it 's a solid recommendable establishment. This review is addressing my experience, with buying a take out lunch, for the first time. The sign for the price was misleading. The sign left out a crucial detail. They charge you $5.49 per pound, not $5.49 per container. I could have jumped to conclusions and made the mistake on my end, thinking differently, but the total charge for my meal, was surprising. I hope this will help any other individual interested in how their to go box prices work. I would have given a 5 star review, but just because of that minor detail excluded from the menu, my score dropped to a 4 star.
I’ve lived in Florida all my life, and as a child, the food used to be good. But as I got older, I realized things had changed. Food in Florida has become bland, and now I just eat to survive. One day, tired of the bland options, I went looking for something different and came across a place called China Lee Buffet. Despite being an introvert who avoids crowds, I noticed they offered takeout, so I decided to get a few plates to take home. Oh my gosh, the food was magnificent! The taste, the flavor, everything was perfect. I became addicted to this place and started coming here every other week, spending $80-$104 for six plates and two large containers: one filled with their to die for mango jelly and the other with wonton soup. I would definitely recommend this buffet to others. 5 stars! I wish I could give it 20 stars.
Overall: 5.0 5.0 First, let me preface that I don't often rate Chinese buffets because they're often synonymous to one another. That is NOT the case with China Lee. Food: The foods here are very high quality compared to what you'd expect from your typical Chinese buffet. I was pretty much expecting it to be average. I was very wrong. They have a large selection of variety at this buffet. There's a salad bar, hibachi area where the chefs will cook your food in front of you, sushi bar and your hot foods entrees and soups. I almost forgot to mention their dessert! The rice pudding is my favorite! Don't forget the boba tea, which is very reasonably priced as well at $3.99. Service: The trays in the buffet are always being replenished with fresh new trays. The servers and hibachi chefs, sushi chefs are really attentive. Environment: Very clean, neat and tidy. Their attention to detail at this restaurant is exceptional. They have hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the buffet so that you can be assured that if you're a germaphobe, your hands are clean. Pricing: Lunch pricing is $11.99 and Dinner is $15.99. If you're a senior, you get 10% off. With the value that you get here, this restaurant is an absolute gem. Best buffet in Ocala bar none and I'll say it's probably easily Top 5 Chinese Buffets in the entire state of FL.
Always fresh food, they have high standards, like to clean the floor they don’t just pass a mob no they bring a floor cleaning machine. One day on my wheel chair after getting food an employee noticed and helped me with my food plate to the table. For me is the Best Food in Ocala FL.
A lot of bang for your buck. The buffet is more affordable than 90% of other dining options but is good quality food. The place is clean and new too. Vegetarian options: I don't eat meat or dairy so I stay mostly in the sushi section. There is no indication if things are dairy free on the buffet.
