Rookies - Fayetteville

The music was the only thing excellent. Ordered the California burrito, without beans, to go. Got home and opened it. The burrito was mostly plain yellow rice. Very little steak. Didn't bite into any onions or sour cream until the last 2 bites. Alsothe mango pico and fries advertised on the description in the menu were nonexistent. No fries and no taste at all of any kind ofpico. In the end the burrito was very bland, even with the salsa verde, and won't be paying $14 for 1 burrito again. Doubt Iwill since more than likely I won't return. This was on 3/7/2021.

I ordered the 3 tacos with steak. My meat was bone dry, but my rice and beans were really good. Husband enjoyed his burrito

This food was so FUC$ ! good I had to smash mine before I could leave a review. Straight mouthgasm. This is a picture of my girls plate and she NEVER finishes a plate but she ate hers and some of the extra stuff I ordered. This food is FANTASTIC youjust have to know what your ordering and what you like. Awesome owner, awesome food, and that was delivered from door dash andwas STILL hot and fresh. Litterally in the top 5 best places in town for quick, delicious, unhealthy food. AMAZING is anunderstatement. If your food wasnt good either your ordering wrong or just so happened to order at the wrong time. DONT listento the reviews. This food IS BUSSIN BUSSIN!!!!!!

Ordered the taco box, 12 tacos. Waited about 40 min. Understandable. The issue was with the actual tacos. Steak was dry with no flavor and cold. A few of the tacos barely had meat in them. I ordered from here before and it was a different item and that wasreally good. Idk what this was here but for 40 bucks not worth it.

This is the third and last time that I give rookies a chance. I went to their location on Yadkin when they first open their restaurant and it was great. As time went by the quality of the food depleted. They went from having a broth for their Birriatacos to having a cup of oil for their tacos. The tacos themselves are not even savory anymore it?s just a soggy piece of oilydough. I tried going to their location inside the mall yesterday and had the same issue. I took two bites out of my taco and hadto throw the rest away. I even bought a second order for my friend who just had surgery and she couldn?t even eat it. Foodshould never be rushed. Disgusting
