Drop By The River Seafood

The food is really good. The portions are enough to have you nice and full, our wait time was not long, and most of all its tastes great. I feel like I got my money's worth. The pictured plate was the Crab Feast for $35 after taxes. My friend had one cluster of crab with shrimp and her plate totaled right at $20 so they are reasonably priced. All plates come with half a potato (a big half), 2 corns on a cobb and 2 half pieces of sausage. Most places make you choose between corn, sausage or potatoes but here you do not have to sacrifice a side. My friend and I were unaware that there are 2 locations. This location is Straight Drop and the other is Drop by the River which is downtown. If you want to try the chicken wings you must visit the downtown location. We wish we knew the difference because we wanted to try the wings but it's not offered at this location. Next time we will try the downtown location, Drop by the River. Its smaller on the inside at this location but luckily we had a table to sit at (shared table with other patrons) All in all, I recommend and believe others will enjoy the food as much as my friend and I have.

This place is soooooo good. This is my first time coming and it was SO worth it. Prices are fine for what you get. Employees super nice and helpful: I love it. I'll definitely be back!

Straight Drop Seafood is hands-down the best seafood in town. It is VERY FRESH and made to order! You may ask if the seafood lasts beyond a day....ABSOLUTELY! They are bringing in the best seafood to ensure that we return! Also, the big containers are in pans and wrapped in saran wrap, so you don't have to worry about any spills. You can just slide the pan in the oven on about 150° degrees and re-heat for a delicious time! They do have seating for 30 customers dining-in with 15 seats for waiting. Clean restrooms with handicap accessibility, both gender specific is available for use. Go by Straight Drop Seafood... I'm sure you will just straight drop all other competitors

Looks can be deceiving. The outside of this place is bland. The inside looks like the DMV with tables. But when you finally get your food it does not disappoint. Everything we ordered (crab plate and fried shrimp) was perfectly cooked. The fries are nothing special but the potato and corn were excellent. Our wait time was only 10 minutes but I’m guessing Wednesday afternoons aren’t that busy anyway. Will be back again!

I thought tha hype but let's just say this is tha best seafood I've had in a long time. The sauce they use O my word... Glad the line wasn't out the door but I do see why it does. This place is the truth!
