Sport Lory - FAUGLIA

Stayed in Fauglia for a week and visited this bar daily. Magic wee place where Raol, his brother Fred, their Mother and their 103 yr old Il Nono have ran the place for three generations. Great location across from the town hall, great for watching the coming and goings. The drinks were great, great rock music, the chat was excellent and there were always free bar snacks. The whole family were lovely and helped me with my bad italian as well as giving us top of tips. The bar is well stocked and very well priced. Try a Lido(hope I've spelled that right? An in-house cocktail. We all feel sad to to be leaving this wonderful, welcoming place. Thanks for the hospitality. A'presto!!

Just spent a very nice time at Rauls bar. Had some Prosecco and great snacks. And always great rock music in the background. The (now) 104 year old grandpa was sleeping already today. But heard he is still ok. Hope to come back soon.

I was on my way from Pisa driving my motorcycle in the beautiful small roads and I just stop to get water but stayed there for two hours. The atmosphere was wonderful especially the rock music. Each song picked up carefully by Federico Carli who runs the place as a 3rd generation (I happened to meet Federico's grandfather who is over 100 years old).
