In fact during the day the restaurant is a butchery and in the evening is transforming in a sort of restaurant. You go into the butchery anc choose your meat and they will prepare the meat for you (grilled) and you can serve it on a terrace . Very good meat and very good grilled.

Went last night after regularly eating at the opposite restaurant La Rotonda 2. I like to try my Italian so not to be arrogant but the young man did speak some English. I replied in Italian. So basically you get a table, chose your meat carni) there’s a huge selection and you can have a mix or steak really whatever you like. They weigh it and will ask how you’d like it cooked medio seems not far off our Medium Rare at home). I’d asked for Controfiletto Sirloin) and they kept saying Ci Ci yes) but I’m sure as you’ll see in the photo we have a T Bone?? I may be wrong though. The waitress will take your drinks side orders from your table. We were brought Bread a little while later some bruschetta too. That was delicious on its own. We ordered Insalata Mista Mixed Salad), 1 portion of Patate al forno baked potato) 1 portion of Cipolla al forno baked onions), Beer Water. The restaurant gets extremely busy and customers were queuing outside the door at 22:30!!!!!! Yes you wait for your meat to be cooked but that’s part of the enjoyment of the experience! Once arrived. Oh my goodness It was Amazing!!!!!!! So tender and juicy so flavoursome! They came to see if we wanted the steak cooked more but it was done to perfection. Yes the restaurant is on the roadside but you don’t notice that and just the atmosphere of being there and the delicious food makes up for the curb side venue! The bill was €44 £39) We will be going again this week! But seriously no need for the sides except the salad!!!

Cibo davvero squisito, personale magnifico, camerieri educati, gentili e disponibili, lo consiglio soprattutto ai turisti per degustare cibi del posto!!
