St. Antonia - Faro

Had great fish kebabs and calamari with reasonably priced wine. Staff pleasant and good to deal with. So good went there twice in one week.

Luckily we asked a local where he would go to eat and he recommended this lovely place.It is actually run by a Belgian couple and although about a 20 min walk from the jetty well worth the hike. The views out over the sand dunes to the Atlantic Ocean are magnificent. The walk there takes you past some pretty little houses and the small island grocery store. On the way back a fisherman was sitting there selling his catch. We loved the restaurant and the lovely owner waitress couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. A lovely part of a great day out to this wonderful island. Incidently the beach is amazing clear turquoise seas and white sandy beach the last beach I saw like this was in the South Pacific......
