Sicilia Mia - Farmington

Let's start with the only positive aspect of our experience: our waiter, Daniel, did an excellent job despite the circumstances. My wife and I wanted to try something new and decided to visit Sicilia Mia, which we had never heard of before. Upon entering, the first thing that struck me was the number of empty chairs and the dirty tables left over from the morning rush. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated, even though more than three-quarters of the restaurant was empty. Our hostess informed us that we would be seated next, but then disappeared, leaving us waiting. During that time, several servers approached us to ask if we had been helped, which only added to the confusion. Unfortunately, the food was overpriced for what it was, and we don’t plan on returning.

This is truly the best Italian food I've had outside of Italy.

Interestingly, I've visited this restaurant twice now, but I still haven't been able to actually dine here. On my first visit, it was toward the end of lunch, more than 30 minutes before they were set to close. Despite this, the hostess turned me away. A few weeks later, I decided to try again for dinner. My group sat at the bar, and I observed each server attempting to manage the bar and prepare their own drinks. I placed an order, but I was forgotten and, after waiting for a while, I spoke with a manager. The response was that they had only just barely put my order in. I was billed for my drinks, yet I left hungry and disappointed once again. I'm sure that others have had positive experiences and enjoyed the food here, but unfortunately, that hasn't been my experience.

I visited this location on Mother's Day, which also happened to be our wedding anniversary. After being seated, we waited 30 minutes before our waiter acknowledged us. Once we ordered, it took another 30 minutes for our food to arrive, but our salads were forgotten. There was no follow-up from the waiter after our food came, and I ended up paying $58 for the worst steak I've ever tried. We decided to leave feeling like we had overpaid for what they tried to pass off as food. On our way home, we stopped at McDonald's, where the food and service were a million times better!

Horrible horrible service!! My party of 9 had a reservation for 8:30 pm and we waited 35 minutes until we finally left. Workers made no effort to set up our table quickly let alone prioritize it as if they didn’t want to serve us. Other parties that walked in with no reservations were sat before our table was ready. We saw the servers arguing when discussing our table yet they were working SO SLOW to get it ready when all it needed was silverware and a wipe down. Absolutely ridiculous experience and a waste of time when this was supposed to be a graduation dinner with family. On top of that there was hardly any care or apology given for the time we waited. Don’t waist your time here. The service sucks and it seems they don’t have bussers or a host so people that walked in were hardly acknowledged.
