Cancun Grill Mexican - Faribault

New to the area, we decided to try out some local restaurants. Unfortunately, my family and I were left puzzled by the bland and flavorless food we encountered. The salsa was not only tasteless but also runny, and the cheese dip we ordered alongside it was overpriced and lacked any real flavor. The beef in the quesadilla was devoid of taste, and the red sauce on the enchiladas and burritos resembled ketchup more than anything else. Even the street tacos needed a generous amount of green sauce, which, to our dismay, was also bland. We shared our dishes among the four of us to confirm that it wasn’t just a matter of taste buds dulled by COVID. It wasn’t; we were genuinely disappointed. Given that we live within walking distance, this was truly disheartening. I can honestly say this was the most disappointing $65 I've spent in a long time. I work too hard for my money to make that mistake again.

Unfortunately, I called ahead to make sure they had enough staff to provide service for 9 for a birthday party. They stated they did but did not. They had two employees working the entire restaurant. Good luck!

My daughter Zoey and I love to eat here. It's a wonderful place for both adults and kids. The service is excellent, and their street tacos are definitely the best in town. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I feel so bad for our waitress she seriously seems to totally hate your job. We waited for food for 40 min and we’re the only customers in the restaurant. Food was good and prices are appropriate. If we come again will try to do so during a more popular time and will maybe get food faster/better service.

The carnitas at Cancun Grill were absolutely fantastic. There is a wide range of selections that would please anyone looking for a good Mexican meal.
