Perkins Restaurant - Fargo

Kaly greeted us with such goodness and treated us so well. Filled us with super cold drinks and was so attentive. Renew the menu items and things we didn't even know. Coaxed is in a fun cake for dessert! She was great! Go to Perkins when you're in town. Delicious food and stellar service.

I have always had a soft spot for Perkins for a lot of reasons, but after my last couple experiences I don’t plan on going back ever. Last time I ordered for take out and was missing items, called over the phone and had it arranged to be fixed, then when I arrived nobody knew what I was asking for even though I just called in. Tonight I went with my wife and both waitresses were at the till, and neither acknowledged us or the gentlemen who had obviously been waiting already to pay. The restaurant was relatively empty too. We waited 10 or so minutes while no one was upfront, when the waitress finally returned a family had just walked in and she seated them before us. We walked out at that point, went to Ihop and were instantly helped and seated despite there being multiple customers.

We ate at the Fargo ND Perkins. We were seated in a decent amount of time. Our drinks were brought out quickly and order taken. Then we waited for an hour for our food. The restaurant was less than half full. After the hour our waitress assured us that our order was coming. About 15 min later our food came. The two salads we ordered were sparse at best and one had corn added to it. 3 of our meals were prepared wrong and 2 were not made at all. They were all Luke warm at best. When they made one of the orders they forgot they made the wrong thing again. When we asked for the bill it took a very long time for it. We were not given a discount or apology. The lady at the checkout had a lot of excuses.

Service was extremely slow. Food was cold. Restaurant was dirty. I suspect many of the positive reviews were bribed using the show us your review for 10% off poster by the checkout counter.

Food was good and it came out fast, honey our server was dulce como la miel de los pancakes ! And very good ????????
