Dolly Down Grill - Fargo

Great location for a quick bite to eat. I was in town for work and had about 45 minutes to eat and back to the hotel. I could order in about 40 minutes, eat and have a good talk. I was treated with a wonderful Elk burger. I was also impressed to see that they also had bisonburger on the menu. the resturant is located in a truck stop area. very nice stop for all logisticians, everyone who is in a local hotel or past the location!

OMG! My wife had the grilled pork chops and she said they were really good. I just had the Ribeye Whiskey Steak, and it was the best STEAK EVER! I traveled around the world as aviator to involve Colombia and Guatemala, and I grew up not only near a cattle ranch, but first learned real grilling in a steak house, so I know a little about steaks. I have eaten steaks everywhere and after the withdrawal from the airlines I drive my own rig to the USA. What a surprise to find Dolly Down, with great food and very polite, fast service! We have to come back! And for you other truckers it is on the Fargo Petro with 190 parking spaces. Great place for 34!

I'm crossing fargo about once in the week or so, and I always make a point to have a ham steak here. as a truck driver, this is one of my favorite places. they have good breakfast in diner style and burger steaks and chiffs for lunch and dinner. they even have beer on hahn. the waiting staff is always attentive and polite. if they are in the petro or one of the nearby hotels, I recommend eating them here.

So the reviews for the dolly down are creepy when they read out loud while they are acclaimed with a country. but seriously, for a 'truck stop' restaurant this place is fantastic. ordered breakfast, the speck was crispy and perfect, my huh fried steak was huge and the engraving was perfectly plucked and in contrast to another breakfast place in the city I got a spoon with my coffee. they give this place a try, what a disgusting jewel.

I had the special chicken tortilla soup and pepper jack cheeseburger. It was delicious and decent price. I have also had the cheese curds they are also delicious. Very friendly staff and nice setting inside.
