Cracked Pepper - Fargo

It's definitely better with torn pepper! Her soups are incredible. I make it a point to enjoy lunch here every autumn and winter, usually opting for half a grilled sandwich and soup to warm me up. During COVID, they closed the interior, and I really hope they reopen it because it's such a charming little spot.

Update (8/1/22): I've returned since they reduced the seating, and the food has been exceptional lately. The soups are flavorful, the salads are generously portioned, and best of all, the prices remain reasonable. I'm changing my rating to 5 stars!

Hands down the best restaurant in fargo. feels like a piece of house when I sit here, and eating tastes like it, nothing like an amazing home cooked eating! the service is also so amazing

My mom and I love this place for lunch. They have a different menu every day and their soup is always my go-to. Also, you get dessert with the combos, which is my favorite part! We've had cherry cobbler, apple crisp... Homemade desserts! It's hard to find places like this that make you feel at home while also going out to eat.
