Pausa Cafe Dunelm Mill - Fareham

The French onion soup lacked flavor and the expected cheese crouton on top. The tomato and basil soup was not hot enough and needed a touch of sugar to balance the acidity. The young lady who served us part-time was a standout and a credit to the company.

During a visit to Dunelm in Titchfield with my wife and granddaughter, we decided to stop by the onsite Pausa cafe. Although I usually avoid shopping trips, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality and flavor of the coffee, which was far superior to what I have experienced in well-known high street cafes. The food and service at the cafe were also top-notch. Overall, our visit to the Pausa cafe really brightened my day.

I took my children to this restaurant for lunch, as it was nearby, but I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend it at all. The kids meals were so poor that my oldest child refused to eat anything, despite not being picky. I ordered a jacket potato for myself and it was terrible - not even a full potato, burnt on the bottom, and without any salad or side dish. The guy at the register kept insisting that half of the drinks on the kids meal shelf were not allowed, and then overcharged me for three drinks. Despite my attempts to explain, he showed no interest and did not understand. I will never come back to this restaurant.

It takes over an hour to walk on hilly roads to get to this cafe from where I live. You can’t get there with one bus, unfortunately. I was visiting a Dunelm shop and I noticed that there’s a cafe. Thought I’ll ask if they do an oat coffee as I recently found out I’m allergic to milk. I was happy to hear they have a milk alternative available and saw their beautiful cakes that looked so fresh. I’m very picky when it comes to a coffee and food. And the sales lady said that the chocolate cake is vegan friendly. I haven’t had a cake for a while because it’s difficult to find a freshly baked high quality cake without milk in it. It was such a lovely experience, I really didn’t expect. It’s the second day off in a row I’m visiting this coffee place, staff is professional and knowledgeable too, good service. Definitely coming back here.

Service lovely, the girls so nice and friendly. The food was very good really enjoyed. Taken Mum back a couple of times. Would definitely be a regular!!
