Villa Giulia - FANO

We booked a site visit at Villa giulia for our potential wedding venue and spent a weekend there. We had a tasting dinner complimented with their own selection of wine which were both fantastic. The rooms were charming and had plenty of character. The outside spaces were beautiful and had lots of different places to relax and explore. We made use of the electric bikes they provide to visit the local town which was very fun! Anna and the team were attentive and helpful whenever we had any questions. We loved it so much we have chosen this venue for our wedding, Anna and the team have a very organised event plan with all prices and services shown transparently so you know what you will be getting for what price. Would certainly recommend for a weekend away or for a celebration. Thank you for having us.

Abbiamo trascorso 4 giorni di relax in un luogo che ha soddisfatto le nostre esigenze oltre le aspettative. Ottima posizione e consigliata a chi, come noi, ha voluto visitare e godere della bellezza naturale e ricca di storia della nostra amata Umbria. Grazie ai proprietari e al personale della Villa Giulia Relais per la loro gentilezza, simpatia e cortesia che ci hanno dato ottime e abbondanti colazioni, una cucina raffinata e buona gusto. Una nota di merito a parte per il mantenimento delle camere al massimo della pulizia, igiene, arredate con gusto e soprattutto con basso impatto ambientale. Torneremo sicuramente con i nostri amici!

Our second visit and this time we extended our stay for a few more days. Lots of history to explore up and down the coast, plus make a day trip to Urbino for the essence of Renaissance. Last year we had an airy cottage room; this year a grander room in the main Villa. Daikin air conditioning very good and beds are very generous size and length and are comfortable. Old world, relaxed elegance meets casual comfort. Tiled floors, marble staircase, frescoed ceilings and walls, lots of art books as well as memorabilia of the late 1800’s. Very large, clean pool with simple, comfortable shaded loungers set under the sweeping olive trees with pleasant, constant hilltop breeze. Fresh fruit and veg from the family garden and wine from the vineyards in view from the gorgeous, large restaurant terrace looking right over to the Adriatic sea at Fano. The fresh fish and homemade pasta dishes were wonderful. Gracious owners and very helpful team always available but not intrusive. One staff member in particular, Theresa, brings a big smile to the generous, typical regional breakfast of fresh seasonal fruits (picked locally), homemade cakes and strong espresso. We will return, and will continue to recommend to friends.

I had my 80th birthday party at Villa Giulia. Everything was superb from the food to the service and to the beautiful location overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Absolutely special!!
