Cute little cafe in the centre of Falmouth, staff have always gone above and beyond ever since I moved here back in 2020 I’ve been a returning customer ever since. Highly recommend the Full Cornish breakfast as it’s to die for! Staff are really friendly, it’s got a great vibe to the place and the food is affordable too! Highly recommended if you’re planning on visiting! Parking: If you’re parking in the area, you will need to park in the car park on The Moor as its double yellows outside the shop. A gem of Falmouth town, The Stand has become an almost weekly pit-stop for me, to hideaway and people watch comforted by a full Cornish or English with good local sausages and mushrooms cooked tastefully. The service is always warm and conscientious with a full provision of available condiments. A usually welcome playlist or radio runs with some pop classics or alternative hits, if I 'm not listening to a podcast. A good place to meet a friend for a catch-up and they serve a respectable standard of coffee for an traditional English 'greasy spoon ' style caf. It 's also one of the only places I know locally where I can happily request fried bread in place of toast. Delicious. The location is ideal, central and offers a feeling of timelessness, as the world goes by around you, safe in a comfortable, unimposing setting where you guaranteed service with a smile and even the option of noodle Ramen among the other dishes on the menu.
