Contribuiți la feedbackI went twice in a week to lunch and dinner. the first time, our server offered us not many options, but what we had was pretty good: veggie burrito and a tostada, with a side of guacamole. for the second time our server was vegan and gave us more recommendations. the roasted brussels were delicious, a bit on the sweet side, and the roasted borons were vegan. as a bonus are their chips and salsa better than average. In summary, this is not the kind of vegan-friendly Mexican restaurant that has vegan cheese, vegan acid cream and menu points labeled with vegan. but it is still a good Mexican restaurant where vegans can enjoy a delicious and filling lunch or dinner.
I have the vegan burrito, came with a Zilantro rice and pico de gallo. the chips, salsa and quad were also really good. great city location. kovid conscious. the drinks were also great.
I got the colifor fritas without the Bleu cheese and thought they were excellent. I liked how sharp they were. I was in front of a stay there and had ordered what they had at that time as their one and only veggie court and it was a similar 3-taco court of really big bohnen tacos. I had it twice. Although they really don't have much for vegans, what they have is very delicious. we had to sit outside because phase two reopenings and it was nice.
The only vegan things listed on the menu are the guacamole and veggie tacos. When we asked our waitress, she told us they would be happy to make things vegan where they could. My husband got a veggie chimichanga and it was off the hook. It was stuffed with spinach, mushrooms, onions, peppers, corn, rice, potatoes, and black beans. 10/10 would get this again. I got the veggie tacos and they were good, but a little spicy for my tastes.
On the recommendation of a colleague, we ventured from Martha's Vineyard to Anejo for a special occasion. Even though the menu does not look vegan-friendly, the servers were completely aware of vegan requests, and easily explained all vegan options. I chose the veggie tacos (it was Taco Tuesday), which came with a black bean and corn salsa, and was incredibly delicious and filling. We also ordered tableside guacamole that was a meal in itself, but when I learned that the chocolate avocado pudding was vegan (minus the whipped cream), I ordered that after and was thrilled with the experience. We will return even if it means we have to ride a ferry and travel half a day for a good Mexican meal.
