Stopped in to have breakfast before work and it took them 10 mins for a host to seat me. Granted the gentleman was friendly, I didn’t appreciate the chlorine smell is the waiting area felt like I was at pullen park pool. I ordered shrimp and grits. They felt like individual items put together NOT a cohesive plate. Flavorless frozen vegetables and shrimp, instant grits with no salt. When attempting to use the salt shaker it was clogged from humidity at the rim. The best tasting thing was the prepackaged hazelnut creamer. No flavor. Decor felt dated like a hospital cafeteria. Awful experience for a restaurant that has awards won decades ago. Better off going to Waffle House or bojangles up the street, half the price and double the flavor.

It's the best brunch location ? and we love grabbing a delicious meal after church. The inside does have dated decor so I removed a star for that. Otherwise, it's great for pancakes, French toast, omelets, bacon, sausage, grits and even avocado toast. Can't go wrong ??
