You must be careful with this place, they will try to calculate you what they want. When I ask for a detailed review, they are unable to do with so much Bs about their POS that every restaurant in Virginia offers detailed review robbing people and have some integrity.

This place is thee WORST PLACE that I’ve ever been too. I literally waited 45 mins at the bar and never got served. There were 4 bartenders and NONE of them came to where I was standing. They only knew how to make a vodka and cranberry, then thee charged me $20 to get in, and $44 for hookah. I will NEVER come back to this establishment again, and I would suggest that others do the same

There bartenders are horrible and the manager is drunk and doesn't help out when the bar is busy, he walks around with a cocktail, I don't recommend anyone to go there, Goto Clarendon instead0 stars if I could

This bar was the worst experience I've ever had. They charged a ridiculous $20 entry fee—what was that for? I paid for bottle service, but it was a complete joke. After spending $200 on a bottle, I had to pay another $20 just to get coals to refill my hookah. I felt rushed to finish my drink, yet they were still serving others. It was a crazy place—you're better off staying home, watching TV, and inviting some friends over to relax. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

On Saturday, August 8, I saw the bartender with glasses stealing cash from the register and putting it in his pocket. Additionally, there was a fight that broke out after a girl used pepper spray. I overheard the bartender with glasses say he had paid her to do it and that they planned to pin the blame on one of Cortez's staff. He even instructed his patrons to say it was the security who caused the chaos. As someone who often works undercover in restaurants and other venues, I notice a lot, and I can tell you that they are supposed to stop serving alcohol by 1:30 AM, but I saw them still serving at 2:45 AM. The owner must not be aware of the issues happening in his establishment, and I hope he realizes that he should start listening. I've been coming here undercover for a couple of months now, and honestly, I believe this place needs to close down.
