Brothers Bistro - Fallbrook

Pros: 1. Waitress was friendly and attentive. 2. The terrace is quiet and welcoming with a pond with Koi fish. Cons: 1. Unavailability of food. We tried to order a calzone and Stromboli, but they said they didn't have the equipment to make them or the cook that made them (may understand the argumentation). Then we tried to order a salad to which they did not order the ingredients for (sweden salad). Then we tried to order their spinach and mushroom pizza and they did not have the ingredients for it. 2. Mushy soggy pizza. Once we finally had to order something they had ingredients to put us on two pizzas to a vegetarian and meat lovers. The crust on both was terrible, almost burned on the lower soggy and boiled at the top and the crust was like a tire. The vegetarian was weighed from the uncooked almost raw vegetables. 3. Not worth the price. With two salads and 2 pizzas our bill was over $80, which I would like to pay for quality, but that was nowhere near. 4. Lack of empathy. Our waitress had to interrupt our conversation at the table 3 different times to tell us that they could not fulfill our order and then we had to order again. With all the problems you would expect a little more empathy. Compose a desert or even just a simple closing of an apology. Something that would cause us that these problems are not typical in this restaurant. (And no, we were kind, patient and understanding with the waitress when she treated the problems) We were told that their food delivery arrived the next day, which was the problem.. The lack of ingredients to customers with their orders especially on something, as simple as a salad seems strange considering that they are right next to a supermarket. That made me question the freshness of food. When the delivery arrives tomorrow, how fresh was the food I've eaten today. I was grateful that I didn't order one of the many seafood on the menu. Signed an unimpressed customer.

Rude. Only rude people running the store. Our waitress was nice, but the two guys behind the counter were insane, and I'll never walk in again. Very disappointed by their lack of customer service.

What a great restaurant! From the fresh homemade Italian cuisine to the entire customer service, this hidden gem is a must! Recently celebrated a birthday on a Friday here, I can't say enough about how great this place is. The food is freshly cooked, they have daily specialties, a fine selection of wine/beer and a variety of dishes (Vegetarian Friendly). The staff is just as great as the place is, the owner was just as inviting and hard as any other. They have a garden like, heated terrace for outdoor seats as well as indoors and in the summer months live music is played on FRI SAT. Add this bistro to your 2022 Fun/Dinner date lists and check it. You also make takeout/pickup!

Ordering the chicken salad would have been better if it was green apples, Craisins, a mixture of green. The chicken was not fresh, seasoned and salted, instead of pre-cooked, rubbery and heated in a microwave. The "homemade ' dressing for it, was 't sure what it was, but it was very unpleasant and has no aromas of ingredients in the salad to improve. The gentleman who was the server who was very helpful, efficient and attentive.

Delicious Blackened ? Sandwich and Garden ? the Italian Cake ? is divine. Our waitress was very friendly and based on the fact that there were eight of us she did a wonderful job. I'll be bringing my husband back to try the dinner menu.
